🎬 Baldivis Film Academy
Your start to a possible career in the exciting world of film making. Digital film is an important part of our culture and provides us with entertainment and information.
Students develop high levels of skill, knowledge and achievement in the production of ‘real world’ film projects while developing transferable social, personal and academic skills.
Five Phases of Film Making
Development • Pre-Production • Production • Post-Production • Distribution
Major Studies (Year 8+)
Students choose 2-4 specialities to study in depth.
Entry: Competitive selection. Limited to 25 students per year. Applicants participate in a “Make a Film in a Day” competition.
Years 7-10 • Selective Entry
🏉 Rugby League Program
Specialist coaching for up to four periods a week, fostering physical, social and psychological development. The program seeks to motivate, engage and inspire young people with an interest in Rugby League.

Expert Coaching
Led by an accredited Level 2 NRL Coach with 35+ years playing experience and 16+ years coaching. Current South African Rhinos International Rugby League Coach.
Years 7-12 • Specialised Support
🧩 Specialised Autism Learning Program
Supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to achieve their academic goals through an evidence-based program supported by the School of Special Educational Needs: Disability (SSEND).
Program Focus
Achieving positive academic, behavioural, social and emotional outcomes for each student. Maximising independence and access to further education and successful employment.
Each student’s program is based on their unique goals, strengths and needs.

Year 12 • University Pathway
🎓 Curtin UniReady Program
An alternate entry to university pathway run in partnership with Curtin University. Bridges the gap between secondary and tertiary education, preparing students academically, mentally and emotionally for university life.
Successful completion provides a notional ATAR of 70 and English competency, making students eligible for selected Curtin University undergraduate courses.
Program Details
Units: 4 units (2 per semester)
Cost: $85/unit ($340 total)
Delivery: 5 sessions/week (1 after school)
Prerequisites
ATAR students: Mostly C grades in Year 11 ATAR courses
General students: Mostly B grades, 60%+ in English

Sit Your Learner’s Permit Test at School
Driver Education
Keys for Life
The Keys for Life program assists young people to better understand the importance of driving practice, planning ahead, courteous and safer driving, and safer vehicles.
Students gain licensing credits and achievement towards their WACE after completing all program requirements and sitting the legitimate Learner’s Permit Theory Test at school.
