Bring Your Own Device
Optional device program for students who wish to use their own laptop
💡 Important: BYOD is Optional
Baldivis Secondary College has excellent device coverage across campus. Students do not need to bring their own device — our computer labs and classroom devices ensure every student can fully participate in all learning activities. BYOD is simply an option for families who prefer their child to use a personal laptop.
What is BYOD?
BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) allows students to bring a personal laptop to school for classwork. It’s a convenience for students who prefer working on their own device, but it’s entirely optional.
For specialist subjects like Media, Design, and Digital Technologies that require specific software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Autodesk), students use our well-equipped computer labs with all necessary software pre-installed.
